Wonah Abu-Baby Konte Jr., a 35-year-old male, was fatally shot on December 29, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the First and Goal sports bar, located at 7801 University City Boulevard. The shooting took place shortly before 11:00 p.m., when officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Konte Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound.
