On January 18, 2025, 17-year-old male Cayden Morgan Casanova was fatally shot in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Hollow Creek Circle in the University City area. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after 4:00 p.m., where they found Casanova suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
