Darrius Brooks, a 20-year-old Black man, was tragically murdered on November 29, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Sadler Road, where officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call shortly after 6:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Darrius with a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
