On December 28, 2024, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a violent altercation erupted outside the Frozen Daiquiri Bar & Restaurant on Bolivar Road near East 9th Street in downtown Cleveland. During the fight, 24-year-old Simajah Harris was shot multiple times. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Deshon Baker Jr., allegedly retrieved a firearm from his vehicle before returning to the scene and opening fire on Harris.
