Malik Danny-Dially Thiam, a 27-year-old male, tragically lost his life following a shooting incident in Avondale, Cincinnati. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 5, 2025, when officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Lexington Avenue. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Thiam suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to UC Medical Center, where he was admitted with life-threatening injuries.
Despite medical efforts, Thiam succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Thiam, who was originally from Latonia, Kentucky, was born on July 22, 1997, in Cincinnati, Ohio. His passing has left his family and community in mourning. Funeral arrangements were made at Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, where friends and family gathered to honor his memory.
As of now, Cincinnati police have not disclosed any arrests or identified any suspects in connection with Thiam’s death. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting, urging anyone with relevant information to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
