On February 7, 2025, 25-year-old white female Kylie Summer Rutledge tragically lost her life in a shooting at the Howell Commons Apartments on Howell Circle in Greenville, South Carolina. Deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call around 4:15 p.m. and found Kylie on the back patio of an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's office identified her shortly after the incident.
