On the evening of Thursday, January 23, 2025, Antonio Melvin Richard, a 21-year-old Black male from Cincinnati, Ohio, was shot in the Westwood neighborhood. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Cavanaugh Avenue. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found Antonio Richard with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
