In the quiet town of Greenwood, South Carolina, the life of a young man, Johnny Frank Covington III, was tragically cut short. The 24-year-old male was discovered deceased in a residence on Balsam Lane on the morning of Saturday, March 15, 2025. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office confirmed that Covington had sustained a single gunshot wound, and his death was officially ruled a homicide.
