On the evening of February 4, 2025, a tragic mass shooting occurred at the KDC/ONE cosmetics manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio. Among the victims was 38-year-old Kyle Vaver, a white male from Pickerington, Ohio. Vaver, an employee at the facility, was fatally shot and pronounced dead at the scene at 10:22 p.m. The Licking County Coroner's Office confirmed that he died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
