Emily Lizama Alvarez, a 20-year-old Latina woman, was shot on February 8, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was found inside a crashed vehicle on Vinton Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported her to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries on February 12, 2025.
