On the evening of May 3, 2025, a male named Brandon Miller was fatally shot at an apartment complex on Ridge Drive in southeast Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred late Saturday evening, and Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hours after the shooting, 44-year-old Raffael Newman turned himself in to the Shelby County jail. Newman reportedly admitted to his involvement in the shooting, which he claimed followed an argument during which he felt "degraded." He surrendered a firear ...
