Jerrico Roshean Fruster, a 41-year-old African American man from Pendleton, South Carolina, was found fatally shot on Checkerberry Lane in Pendleton on May 6, 2025. Authorities received reports of gunfire at approximately 4:21 p.m., prompting emergency responders to rush to the scene. Upon arrival at 4:49 p.m., law enforcement officials discovered Fruster suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Anderson County Coroner's Office later confirmed his death and ruled it a homicide.
