In the quiet town of Pendleton, South Carolina, the afternoon of May 6, 2025, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of Jerrico Roshean Fruster, a 41-year-old African American man. Around 4:21 p.m., reports of gunfire on Checkerberry Lane spurred a swift response from emergency services.
