On the morning of April 14, 2025, 24-year-old Demetrius Williams, an African American male from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot inside his residence on the 400 block of North Mulberry Street. Emergency responders arrived at approximately 9:51 a.m. and found Williams suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:47 a.m.
