In the early hours of April 13, 2017, a Black/African American man named Marquis Johnson, 27, was killed in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident unfolded at the Arcadia Palms Apartments, located near Sahara Avenue and Boulder Highway. Johnson sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
