Columbus Fire medics arrived shortly after and pronounced him deceased at 10:50 PM.
Authorities have confirmed that the next of kin has been notified. The investigation is ongoing as detectives work to determine a motive behind the fatal shooting. At this time, no suspects have been publicly identified, and no arrests have been made. However, law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact Columbus Police Detective Zimmer or the Homicide Unit.
