Death by Force

On January 14, 2025, the community of Minot, North Dakota, was shaken by the death of Matt McLeod, a 49-year-old White/Caucasian male and a lieutenant with the Minot Police Department. His death, which occurred at the police station, was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Due to the nature of his death, there were no arrests made nor any suspects sought in connection with the incident.
