In the early morning hours of December 28, 2024, the life of 21-year-old Daniel Devon Jackson of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. A vibrant and cherished young man, he was discovered in his vehicle on Auburn Drive in Bogue-Chitto, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Lincoln County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at the scene, marking a grim end to what should have been a festive holiday season.
