On February 22, 2025, 24-year-old African American male Zhaire Deion Green was fatally shot in Greenville, Mississippi. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 2400 block of East Alexander Street. Upon arrival, officers found Zhaire Green's body lying in the roadway. The Greenville Police Department is investigating the murder and another shooting involving the father of the alleged suspect.
