In the quiet neighborhood of Ecker's Hollow in Columbia, Maryland, the evening of January 14th was shattered by a single gunshot. Seventeen-year-old Lance Carrington, a male resident of Columbia, was later found deceased in the driver's seat of his parked car on Helen Dorsey Way. The discovery was made around 8:30 p.m. by Howard County police who were responding to a call for a welfare check.
