Keiara Ledet, a 21-year-old African American woman from Lafayette, Louisiana, tragically lost her life in a shooting on February 9, 2025. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Pinhook Road near Carmel Drive. Authorities responded to the scene and transported Keiara Ledet to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at approximately 1 a.m.
