Deon Porter, an 18-year-old male, was found fatally shot on the night of May 5, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. on U.S. 71 Highway near 75th Street. Passing drivers noticed a person lying in the roadway and immediately contacted emergency services. Upon arrival, Kansas City police discovered Porter suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
