Deandre Anthony Simmons, a 28-year-old man, was fatally shot in his apartment in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, on the night of December 23, 2024. According to reports, Simmons was inside his residence in the 900 block of East 78th Street when two unidentified men forcibly entered by kicking in the door.
