Boston Police officers from District C-11 were dispatched to 73 Ridgewood Street at approximately 7:21 p.m. following a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered the young man from Brighton wounded. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
