On the morning of April 11, 2025, officers from Prince George’s County Police Department responded to a distress call regarding an unresponsive individual in Riverdale, Maryland. Upon arrival at the 6600 block of Riverdale Road, they discovered 58-year-old Adeyemi Martin, a Black male, lying in a stairwell. Martin had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
