Death by Force

On the evening of April 10, 2025, 15-year-old Tyler D. McWilliams, an African American male, was fatally shot at Brown’s One Stop convenience store located at 1455 North Acadian Thruway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., and Tyler was subsequently transported to Baton Rouge General Mid City Hospital before being transferred to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
