Damario Davis, a 30-year-old man, was fatally shot while sitting inside a car in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago on January 4, 2025. The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. in the 5200 block of West Washington Boulevard. According to reports, another vehicle approached Davis's car, and an individual exited before opening fire. Davis sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body. Emergency responders transported him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
