On April 18, 2025, at approximately 5:14 p.m., Madison Parish E-911 received a call reporting a shooting at 111 West Oughbourne Street in Tallulah, Louisiana. Officers arrived at the scene by 5:17 p.m. and discovered that the victim, Davarius Edwards, a 19-year-old Black male born on October 25, 2005, had been transported to Madison Parish Hospital by a private vehicle.
