In May of 2014, a tragic series of events unfolded in Killeen, Texas, during a no-knock police raid on the residence of Marvin Guy. This male, identified as a Black man, was the subject of a narcotics investigation that led police to execute a search warrant on his home.

The situation escalated quickly when officers attempted to breach the apartment. In the ensuing confusion, gunshots were exchanged between Guy and the officers. Guy has maintained that he believed his home was being invad ...
