In the late hours of a Saturday night in Tallulah, Louisiana, the life of 20-year-old Clayton Crye Jr. was tragically cut short. On September 21, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 1400 block of Florida Street, resulting in Crye's death. The Madison Parish Sheriff's Office initially responded to the incident but soon requested the assistance of the Louisiana State Police to lead the homicide investigation.
