Latrista L. Warfield, a 37-year-old woman from Peoria, Illinois, was found dead on January 19, 2025, at the Grove Apartments. Authorities responded to a call just before 11 a.m. regarding a deceased individual in the hallway of the apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered Warfield lying in the hallway with an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:43 a.m.
