Treek Booker-Lawson, a 23-year-old African American woman from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost her life on November 6, 2020. She was discovered deceased in the driver's seat of a vehicle located in the 600 block of West Corrington Avenue in Peoria. The initial discovery was made by Peoria police at around 7 a.m. on that day. Upon arrival, officers found a significant amount of blood inside the car, and an autopsy later confirmed that Treek had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
