Berry Rainer Rose III, a 46-year-old male from Monticello, Kentucky, was found deceased outside his home on Cart Bell Ridge Road in Wayne County on March 30, 2025. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 4:15 a.m. after receiving a report of a male subject with an apparent gunshot wound. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office initially arrived and, upon suspecting foul play, requested assistance from the Kentucky State Police Post 11 London to conduct a formal investigation.
