On February 23, 2025, 31-year-old Chelsea Lynn Lusher, a white woman from Bloomington, Illinois, was tragically killed in a triple murder-suicide that also claimed the lives of her 13-year-old son, Armoni Bennett, and her 31-year-old friend, Trina Hollings. The perpetrator was identified as 33-year-old Christopher H. Simmons, Chelsea Lusher's boyfriend.
