In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Topeka, Kansas, the life of 45-year-old Ricky R. Washington Jr. was tragically cut short. On November 10, 2024, just after 9 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1200 block of SW Huntoon Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, first responders discovered a grim scene with two individuals suffering from life-threatening injuries.
