On March 2, 2025, a tragic double homicide occurred in Markham, Illinois, claiming the lives of two individuals. One of the victims was 23-year-old African American male Jamari Stigler of Riverdale, Illinois. The other was 27-year-old African American female Diamond Taylor Harvey of Crown Point, Indiana.
