In the late morning chill of February 24, 2025, the life of 40-year-old Denise Byrd, a White/Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Kansas. First responders were called to the 5100 block of Leavenworth Road just before 11 a.m. following reports of a shooting. There, outside a home, they found Byrd suffering from gunshot wounds.
