Isiah Matthews, a 58-year-old man, died on March 12, 2025, from complications related to a gunshot wound sustained during a robbery incident in Chicago, Illinois. The Cook County medical examiner’s office ruled his death a homicide. Matthews was shot on February 18, 2025, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago while allegedly attempting to rob a 68-year-old woman.
