Gerald Atkins, a 67-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, was found dead in Powder Springs, Georgia, on February 15, 2025. Authorities responded to a call at a residence on Katie Emma Drive around 3:33 a.m., where they discovered Atkins had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
