In the early morning hours of March 9, 2025, a 21-year-old man named Charles Mitchell Jr. was brought to Community East Hospital in Indianapolis with gunshot injuries. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, he was pronounced dead.

The Marion County Coroner's Office later determined that Mitchell had been shot in the 7100 block of Twin Oaks Drive. His death was officially ruled a homicide. As of now, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has not released any information regard ...
