Elijah Everett, a 19-year-old African American male from Homestead, Florida, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on the night of March 2, 2025. The incident occurred around 11:04 p.m. near the intersection of Northwest 13th Street and Northwest 7th Avenue in Florida City. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, Elijah was standing outside when he was fatally shot.
