Eric McMillen, a 52-year-old man from the South Chicago neighborhood, was fatally shot on the morning of April 30, 2025, in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred outside a home in the 11200 block of South Normal Avenue at approximately 7:15 a.m. McMillen was engaged in an argument with an individual he knew when the confrontation escalated, resulting in him being shot in the chest and abdomen.
