Anthony Jamar Coley, a 27-year-old man from Dublin, Georgia, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of April 29, 2025. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Rutland Drive during what investigators believe was an armed robbery gone wrong. Police were alerted to the scene around 2:00 AM when the city's shot detection system was activated. Upon arrival, officers found Coley lying in the driver's side area of a vehicle, unresponsive and struggling to breathe.
