In the early morning hours of September 29, 2024, the life of 20-year-old Kimani Ahmean Fironate Young-Ike was tragically cut short in Aurora, Colorado. A Black male, Young-Ike was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred in the 1700 block of Boston Street around 3:30 a.m. In a desperate attempt to save his own life, he drove himself to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he succumbed to them shortly after his arrival.
