On April 23, 2025, 18-year-old Caleb Quick, a high school senior from Clovis, California, was tragically shot and killed outside a McDonald's restaurant in the city. Quick, who was weeks away from beginning training with the U.S. Air Force, was fatally wounded in what authorities described as a shocking act of violence.
