Zenzele Davis Mdadane, a 25-year-old South African man, was tragically murdered on February 19, 2011, in Butler Township, Ohio. Mdadane, who was in the United States on a work visa, was lured to Dayton by Muziwokuthula S. Madonda, another South African national, under the pretense of an undisclosed plan. Upon arrival, Madonda drove Mdadane to a secluded area in Butler Township and fatally shot him. The motive behind the murder was reportedly Madonda’s intent to assume Mdadane’s identity.
