Debra Renfors, a 46-year-old woman, was found dead in her home in Lansing, Michigan, on August 9, 2007. Her death was ruled a homicide, and she was one of several victims in a series of brutal killings that terrorized the Lansing community during the summer of 2007. Authorities suspected that she was murdered by Matthew Macon, a serial killer who targeted women living alone.
