Peggy Lynn Grimes, a 22-year-old woman from Douglas County, Georgia, met a tragic and violent end in September 1993. At the time of her death, she was eight months pregnant. Her disappearance was reported by her mother in the summer of 1993 after she had not been heard from for several days. Grimes' remains were discovered later that year in a wooded area, but she remained unidentified for five years.
