In the small city of Quitman, Georgia, a community was shaken by the untimely death of 31-year-old Tamesha Bartee. On the morning of Monday, March 9, 2026, officers from the Quitman Police Department responded to a call from an apartment complex in the 1000 block of North Jefferson Street.
