In the late morning of Friday, November 29, 2024, the quiet of a residential street in Quitman, Georgia, was shattered by the sound of gunfire, leading to the tragic deaths of two women. Forty-eight-year-old Tamiko 'Polly' Mobley, a Black/African American female, and her 25-year-old daughter, Tiaja Mobley, were found deceased inside Tiaja's home on Shiver Lane, both having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
