In the summer of 2002, a 29-year-old woman named Rebecca Jean Boyd vanished from Lawton, Oklahoma. A mother of two young children, she was last seen on July 26, 2002. Her estranged husband officially reported her missing four days later, setting in motion a mystery that would linger for nearly two decades. At the time of her disappearance, Boyd, a resident of Muskogee, was visiting family in the Lawton area.
